Are you ready to become a parent? – The sequel

mndThe previous time we talked about how to understand that you are ready to become a parent. And … as I promised – here is the sequel to the article. Let us act on the substance:

Accept the future problems
Some couples think that the baby is a constant source of entertainment. Yes, there really is a lot of laughter in your home, but you have to expect a lot of problems too. So accept that not everything will be perfect.

Babies experience a lot of emotions
Yes, there are no bigger charmers than babies … and there is probably nothing which will make you more nervous than a screaming child.. At one point your daughter is a real angel, and in the next she has become a little beast with Hulk’s unstable temper. If you’re ready for screaming and tears – be happy, you are ready to be a mother!

“Pregnancy” and “nightmare” are not synonyms

I will not claim that pregnancy is the most wonderful time in your life, but it’s not that terrifying. Study what changes will happen in your body and be ready for them. You can avoid many of the problems if you are prepared.

Plan wisely
After the birth of the baby you have to expect a huge amount of expenses. That’s why it’s a good several months earlyer to save money and be financially prepared, instead of finally having to borrow a cash loan or rely on your parents.

You want to develop and learn

Baby is a complicated “mechanism”. It can cry at every moment, and a few slaps will not fix it. If you think the easiest way to deal with your child is through violence – do not become a mother at all! Instead, you need to learn, develop as a parent, and build a healthy relationship with your child.

You two both have made the decision

After a certain age (which may be quite fragile) your grandmother constantly asks you when you will delight her with a grandchild. Then other relatives interfere with their undivided questions. Many people tell you that having a child is a real happiness and you have to hurry. Your friends are asking, “When will you have a baby at last, you are together for so long?”. Do not succumb to public pressure. Being a mother is your personal decision and no one else should take it for you.

So … what do you think? Are you ready for this BIG step?
